Samsung Galaxy S25 series features water-resistant design with IP68 rating

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has launched, featuring three models: Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. All models come with a high price tag and are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and One UI 7 software. The Galaxy S25 series has an IP68 rating, meaning they are water-resistant and dust-tight. They can be submerged in freshwater up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, providing protection against spills and rain. However, the phones are not completely waterproof. Samsung advises against intentional submersion and notes that water resistance may decrease over time or after repairs. For added protection, users may consider Samsung Care Plus or a waterproof case.
