Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra appears on Geekbench with major performance gains
Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra, featuring a customized Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This new chip, made with a 3nm process, promises a 45% boost in CPU performance and improved power efficiency. Recent Geekbench scores for the Galaxy S25 Ultra show significant performance gains. The device achieved scores of 3,148 in single-core and 10,236 in multi-core tests, marking a 35% and 45% increase, respectively, over the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung has chosen Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite for the S25 series, moving away from its own Exynos 2500 chipset for mass production. The S25 Ultra is expected to maintain 12 GB of RAM and may feature a redesigned body with a larger screen.
