Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra battery life tested with mixed results

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra maintains the same 5,000 mAh battery as its predecessor but features a larger 6.9-inch display. It achieved a record battery life of 17 hours and 15 minutes in testing, surpassing the Galaxy S24 Ultra by 30 minutes. While the S25 Ultra shows improved battery performance, it still falls short compared to competitors like the OnePlus 13 and Asus Rog Phone 9 Pro, which last over 19 hours. The iPhone 16 Pro Max also outperforms it slightly at 17 hours and 35 minutes. Charging speed remains unchanged at 45W, allowing the S25 Ultra to reach 71% battery in 30 minutes. Despite minor improvements, the pressure is on for the next Galaxy model to enhance battery technology further.
