Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 launches in India July 23
Samsung is set to launch its Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July 2025. The event will likely take place on July 23, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Leaks suggest the new foldable phone will feature a slimmer design. It is expected to measure 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm when unfolded, making it 1.1mm thinner than its predecessor. The design includes a wider outer screen and a triple-camera setup, similar to the previous model. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to have a larger 8.2-inch AMOLED inner display and a 6.5-inch outer screen. It will reportedly run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with options for up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The battery is expected to be 4,400mAh, maintaining the same capacity as the Z Fold 6, although the new chip may enhance power efficiency. One notable upgrade includes a 200MP main camera, which would be a first for Samsung's foldable devices outside of South Korea. Other camera features are likely to remain the same as the Z Fold 6, with a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens. For selfies, it may have a 10MP cover camera and a 4MP under-display camera. In India, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to cost around Rs 1,64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, with multiple storage options available. Samsung may also unveil its first tri-fold smartphone during the same event.
