Samsung launches dual-camera Galaxy A25 5G in Japan with new processor

Samsung Japan has introduced the Galaxy A25 5G, a new version of the phone that originally launched in December 2023. This model features a dual rear camera setup of 50MP and 2MP, differing from the global version's triple camera system. The Japanese model is powered by a 6nm Dimensity 6300+ processor with 4GB of RAM, while the global version uses a 5nm Exynos 1280 chip with multiple RAM options. Both models have a 5,000mAh battery and IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Galaxy A25 5G will be available on February 27 for JPY 29,900 (about $197). It has a 6.7-inch TFT display with HD+ resolution, unlike the global model's higher-quality AMOLED display.
