Samsung releases 37-inch 4K monitor for creators in China

Samsung has launched a new large monitor in China called the ViewFinity S80UD (2025). This 37-inch 4K monitor is designed for professionals who need a lot of screen space for their work. It is available for purchase online for about 3,999 yuan, which is around $555. The monitor features a high-resolution screen with 3840 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. This allows for clear and detailed images, making it suitable for various creative tasks. It also supports HDR10, which improves color quality and contrast. With a viewing angle of 178 degrees, the monitor delivers consistent image quality from different positions. It uses a VA panel that refreshes at 60Hz, has a 5ms response time, and offers a brightness level of 350 nits. Its contrast ratio is 3000:1, which means it can display very smooth color gradients. The ViewFinity S80UD covers 100% of the sRGB color space for accurate colors. It has eye care features certified by TÜV Rheinland, like reducing blue light and flickering. There’s also an ambient light sensor that adjusts the monitor’s brightness and color temperature automatically. In terms of connectivity, the monitor is versatile. It includes a 90W USB Type-C port, HDMI and DisplayPort options, a LAN port, and three USB-A ports. This makes it easy to connect multiple devices to the monitor.
