Samsung Wallet to introduce Tap to Transfer and installment features for Galaxy phones

Samsung Wallet will introduce two new features later this year: Tap to Transfer and Instant Installment. Tap to Transfer allows users to send money by tapping phones together, supporting third-party digital wallets, unlike Apple Wallet. The Instant Installment feature will let users break down purchases into installments at checkout, simplifying payment options. Both features will be available in the U.S. for Galaxy S25 users and likely older models through updates. These updates are expected to launch after the Galaxy S25 series, possibly in the second quarter of 2025.
