SanDisk launches affordable 2TB dual-port external SSD

SanDisk has announced a new external solid-state drive (SSD) called the SanDisk Slim Dual Drive. This device offers up to 2TB of storage and features both USB Type-C and USB Type-A ports. This makes it easy to connect with a variety of devices without needing adapters. The SSD boasts fast read and write speeds, reaching up to 1,000MB/s and 900MB/s, respectively. This ensures quick file transfers and efficient backups, making it suitable for large files and video editing. Measuring just 80 x 18.4 x 10.7mm and weighing only 23 grams, it is one of the smallest external SSDs available. The device also includes a metal body for durability and offers encryption software to keep your data secure. The SanDisk Slim Dual Drive is set to launch on March 28. The 1TB model will be priced at approximately $134, while the 2TB version will cost around $256. This pricing makes it a competitive option in the SSD market.
