Sandoval Studios partners on diverse cinematic projects
Sandoval Studios, a film and animation company based in Phoenix, is developing three new movies in collaboration with various partners. One of the projects is an adaptation of Lee Strobel's book, "The Case For Miracles." This film will explore whether miracles truly occur, featuring interviews with scholars and experts across the United States. In addition to this adaptation, Sandoval Studios is creating a documentary about Miel San Marcos, a Guatemalan Christian music group. This film will share the inspiring journey of three brothers from Guatemala who went from playing music in cornfields to performing at Madison Square Garden. The third project is titled "Defying Gravity: The Legend of Steve Caballero." This film will highlight the life of Steve Caballero, a world-champion skateboarder, using exclusive footage to showcase his impact on skate culture and the footwear industry. Mani Sandoval, a director at the studio, expressed a commitment to making films that inspire and tell meaningful stories. The studio is partnering with JG Film and Television and others to expand the reach of these films and connect with international audiences. Moreover, Sandoval Studios plans to launch a new label called De La Roca. This initiative aims to produce and distribute faith-based content that highlights diverse voices, particularly in Mexico and Latin America. Gil Sandoval emphasized the importance of connecting stories with broader audiences and their excitement about reaching viewers in these regions.
