Sankara Eye Foundation India (SEFI) will invest ₹100 crore to build a new eye hospital in Patna, Bihar. This facility will be a super specialty hospital located on 1.60 acres in the Kankarbagh area. The new hospital will feature advanced technology for eye care. Dr. R.V. Ramani, the founder and managing trustee of SEFI, stated that this hospital aims to provide world-class eye care to areas with limited access. He emphasized the goal is to ensure that financial or geographical barriers do not prevent anyone from receiving quality treatment. SEFI currently operates 14 hospitals in 10 different states across India. The new Patna hospital will expand their reach and services in the region.
