Sarvepalli MLA promotes social service among youth
Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy, the MLA for Sarvepalli and former Agriculture Minister, spoke to students about the importance of social service and democracy. He addressed around 70 students from Nellore, Prakasam, and Chittoor districts at the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025. This event took place at Vikrama Simhapuri University in Nellore on Monday. The two-day event was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS). Students participated by delivering speeches and sharing their ideas. The MLA noted that students represent the future of the nation. He encouraged them to work towards improving the country. Reddy highlighted that events like the Youth Parliament help develop leadership skills among young people. He advised students to set clear goals and to engage in discussions that shape their viewpoints. Vice-Chancellor Allam Srinivasa Rao also spoke at the event. He urged students to balance their academic work with social responsibilities. He stressed that today's youth should be prepared to contribute to nation-building through their knowledge and ethics. Rao promised the university's continued support for programs that benefit young people.
