'Saturday Night Live' to host 50th anniversary special with star-studded lineup
"Saturday Night Live" will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special event on Sunday, February 18, airing live for three hours. The show will feature many famous alumni, including Tina Fey, Eddie Murphy, and musical guests like Paul McCartney and Miley Cyrus. The anniversary special will include appearances from numerous past cast members and hosts, such as Adam Sandler, Amy Poehler, and Scarlett Johansson. It will also stream on Peacock, alongside a related concert featuring artists like Lady Gaga and Post Malone. In addition to the main event, a red carpet show will precede the anniversary celebration, hosted by Leslie Jones and Willie Geist. A four-part documentary series about the show's history will also be available on Peacock.
