SBI closes RBO applications March 21, 2025

The State Bank of India (SBI) will end registrations for the Retired Bank Officer (RBO) positions on March 21, 2025. This recruitment aims to fill 269 roles: 263 for Financial Literacy Counsellors (FLC Counsellors) and 6 for FLC Directors. Interested candidates can apply through the SBI website at sbi.co.in. They need to upload necessary documents such as ID proof and age proof. Not including these may result in rejection of their application. To qualify as an FLC Counsellor, candidates must be retired officers of SBI or other banks in specific scales. For FLC Directors, candidates should have retired in Scale III or IV from SBI or other banks. If there are not enough applicants from the officer ranks, retired clerks may also be considered.
