SC Freiburg braces for potential exit of Sildillia

SC Freiburg is preparing for the possible exit of right-back Kiliann Sildillia. The young French player is considering his future with the club. He has been close to leaving Freiburg several times, but no deal has happened yet. Sildillia's contract runs until 2026, so this summer might be the best time for Freiburg to sell him for a good price. He also has an opportunity to showcase his skills at the under-21 European championships this summer. If Sildillia departs, Freiburg will likely give Bruno Ogbus a chance to step up as the new right-back. The team is also looking to bring in another young player to compete with Lukas Kübler. Two potential candidates are Taylan Bulut from Schalke and Elias Baum from Eintracht Frankfurt. Bulut has a release clause of €6-8 million and is expected to leave Schalke. Baum will return to Frankfurt after his loan at Elversburg. If he does not see a chance for first-team play, he might also seek a new club.
