School Spirits will return for a third season. Paramount+ announced this news on March 19. The popular supernatural teen drama gained a strong following, with season 2 attracting an average of 3.9 million viewers within its first 28 days. This is a 94% increase from the season 1 premiere. Shauna Phelan, the head of Live Action Scripted Series at Awesomeness and Nickelodeon, expressed excitement about the renewal. She praised the show’s co-creators, Oliver Goldstick and the Trinrud siblings, for their ability to portray the teen experience while keeping viewers engaged with mystery and unexpected twists. The series follows Maddie, played by Peyton List, who investigates her own disappearance from the afterlife. In season 2, Maddie continues her mission to reconnect with her friends, both living and dead, while uncovering deeper mysteries about her situation. The cast also includes Milo Manheim, Kristian Ventura, and Spencer MacPherson, among others. In a recent interview, Nate Trinrud hinted at more mysteries to explore in the upcoming season. He mentioned that discoveries about Split River and the town itself play a crucial role in the storyline. The show raises questions about how characters deal with unusual circumstances and their emotions. Both seasons of School Spirits are now available for streaming on Paramount+.
