Schoolgirl hospitalized after being hit by car in Liverpool

A schoolgirl was hit by a car in Liverpool this afternoon. The incident happened around 3 PM near St Paul and St Timothy's Catholic Primary School on Melwood Drive. The girl was struck by a Ford Fiesta at the intersection of Melwood Drive and South Parkside Drive. Following the accident, she was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Emergency services were quickly on the scene, but there were no road closures. A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service confirmed that an ambulance and advanced paramedic responded to the call for help.
