Scottsdale plans $1 billion redevelopment of CrackerJax site

Developers are moving forward with plans to redevelop the former CrackerJax site in Scottsdale, Arizona. The project, named The Parque, is expected to cost $1 billion. Recently, they submitted site plans to the city’s Development Review board for approval. The Parque will be a mixed-use development. The first phase includes an 89-unit apartment building and a 70-unit condo building. Both will sit above retail and restaurant spaces. There will also be four separate restaurant spaces and a 1.7-acre park at the site's center. The Scottsdale City Council already approved the overall project in 2023. Developers are now in the final steps to get the necessary approvals before construction can begin.
