Scouts aid objective location and resource gathering

Scouts play an important role in the new game, Assassin's Creed Shadows. They help players find objectives and gather resources needed for upgrades. Once players unlock the Hideout, they will receive their first Scouts. Scouts can scout areas on the map, which helps locate objectives not directly marked. Players must choose the area they want to explore, assign Scouts by using the dispatch menu, and the more Scouts sent, the larger the area revealed. Scouts are also useful for reducing a player's wanted level faster than waiting for it to reset. To collect resources, players can assign Scouts to gather large stockpiles in the world. After selecting the resources, players can hold the interact button to send Scouts back to the Hideout with the collected goods at the end of the season. To get more Scouts, players need to recruit people by upgrading the Study building in their Hideout. Scouts can only be used once per season, so players need to choose wisely. They can also pay Mon at unlocked Kakurega to reduce Scouts' cooldowns for more frequent use.
