SCR GM inspects station redevelopment in Telangana region
The General Manager of South Central Railway, Arun Kumar Jain, visited the Karimnagar to Kazipet railway section on Friday. He focused on the progress of redevelopment projects at several stations in this area. Karimnagar station will undergo renovations costing ₹25.89 crore. Ramagundam station's redevelopment is set at ₹26.49 crore, while Warangal station will be improved for ₹25.41 crore. These projects are part of the Amrit Bharat Station scheme. They aim to enhance passenger amenities, station facades, and surrounding areas to create a better experience for travelers. During his visit, Jain also spoke with railway crew members at Kazipet. He met loco pilots, assistant loco pilots, and loco inspectors to discuss their working conditions. He emphasized the importance of safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for workers and passengers.
