"Screamboat" horror film features Mickey Mouse targeting princesses

A new horror film called "Screamboat" features a twisted version of the classic Mickey Mouse character, Steamboat Willie. This film targets characters that are knockoffs of Disney princesses. According to sources, five characters named Cindi, Jazzy, Bella, Arianna, and Rory will be the princesses in the movie. These characters are inspired by well-known Disney princesses like Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle, Ariel, and Aurora. "Screamboat" is described as a horror comedy. The film takes advantage of the fact that the original Steamboat Willie is now in the public domain due to an expired copyright. This allows filmmakers to present Mickey Mouse in new ways. In one image from the film, the princess inspired by Ariel appears tied up and injured. The movie was filmed on a Staten Island Ferry owned by Pete Davidson and Colin Jost. Reports say that a large amount of fake blood was used, requiring a special cleaning crew afterward. The film's plot follows New Yorkers on a late-night ferry ride that turns dangerous when Steamboat Willie begins attacking passengers. "Screamboat" is set to be released in theaters across the country on April 2.
