Seahawks staffer Matt Capurro joins Raiders as Pete Carroll builds new team
Matt Capurro, a longtime staff member of the Seattle Seahawks, is leaving the team to join Pete Carroll with the Las Vegas Raiders. Capurro has worked with Carroll since their time at USC and has been with the Seahawks for 15 seasons. Capurro previously worked with the Raiders from 2003 to 2008, making his transition smoother. His role in Las Vegas is expected to be similar to his recent position overseeing daily operations in Seattle. Additionally, John Glenn has been hired as the Raiders' linebackers coach. He previously worked under Carroll in Seattle and will join the coaching staff as Carroll builds his team in Las Vegas.
