Sean Duffy nominated as transportation secretary by Trump
President-elect Donald Trump has selected Sean Duffy as his nominee for transportation secretary. If confirmed, Duffy will manage a wide range of transportation systems, including pipelines, railroads, and mass transit, along with highway funding. Duffy, 53, previously served as a U.S. Representative from Wisconsin from 2011 to 2019. He has worked as a Fox News contributor since 2020 and is known for his strong support of Trump. Before entering politics, Duffy gained fame on MTV's "The Real World: Boston" in 1997. He has nine children and previously declined a run for Wisconsin governor to focus on his family.
