Seashore Trolley Museum seeks volunteers in Kennebunkport
The Seashore Trolley Museum, the world's largest electric railway museum, is seeking new volunteers. There are opportunities for both seasonal and year-round positions. The museum recently hosted an open house to inform potential volunteers about these roles. It is located at 195 Log Cabin Road in Kennebunkport. With the museum's 86th season approaching, they specifically need volunteers to work as trolley conductors and operators. Interested individuals can learn valuable skills while helping provide a great experience for visitors throughout 2025 and beyond. Training sessions for new conductors will be held on specific dates in May and June. To participate, volunteers must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license. The course is in high demand, so early registration is encouraged. Those interested can complete an online application or contact the museum directly for more information. The museum also needs volunteers for various other tasks. These include restoring trolleys, serving as tour guides, building landscapes, and supporting special events. Help is also needed for maintenance work on the grounds and facilities.
