Second teen arrested in Queens McDonald's stabbing death
A second teenager has been arrested in relation to the stabbing death of 14-year-old Julian Corneill outside a McDonald’s in Queens. The 16-year-old faces several serious charges, including murder, manslaughter, and gang assault. The incident happened on February 14, when a group of students chased Julian out of the restaurant and attacked him. While he was lying injured on the street, a friend tried to help him until medics arrived. Unfortunately, Julian was pronounced dead later at a hospital. A 14-year-old boy was also arrested at the scene and charged with gang assault. Reports indicate that as many as 15 to 20 teenagers participated in the attack. Julian had recently switched schools due to bullying and violence he experienced at his previous school. Julian's mother expressed her grief, stating that he did not deserve to die in such a brutal manner. She now struggles to cope with the loss of her son.
