Security guard killed in West Philadelphia bar shooting

A shooting outside a bar in West Philadelphia left one man dead and two others injured early Sunday morning. The incident occurred just after 1:30 a.m. outside Deja Vu Bar and Grill, located at 53rd and Arch Streets. Officials said the shooting began after a security guard got into an altercation outside the bar. The security guard, a 30-year-old man, was shot multiple times during the confrontation. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 1:49 a.m. Two other victims were also shot during the incident. A 30-year-old man was shot in the stomach and a woman was shot in the leg. Both were reported to be in stable condition at local hospitals. Police have not confirmed if the injured man was involved in the altercation that led to the security guard's death. However, they stated that the woman who was shot was an innocent bystander. Investigators found a spent magazine at the scene, but no weapon has been recovered yet. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is still ongoing.
