Security plan finalized for Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A security plan for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit has been approved. The decision was made during a meeting led by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, attended by various security officials. The plan includes deploying additional personnel from the Pakistan Army, Rangers, Frontier Corps, and Punjab police. This aims to ensure the safety of the heads of state attending the summit. The meeting emphasized the importance of hosting the SCO summit, marking it as a significant event for the country.
