Sequel to 'Kalki 2898 AD' starts shooting December 2025
Director Nag Ashwin has announced that the sequel to the hit film "Kalki 2898 AD" will start filming in December 2025. This news comes after the first movie, starring Prabhas, made over Rs. 1000 crores globally in 2024. During a recent event celebrating his earlier work, Ashwin shared that fans can expect a bigger focus on Prabhas's character in the sequel. The sequel will dive deeper into the characters of Karna and Ashwatthama, portrayed by Prabhas and Amitabh, respectively. Furthermore, Ashwin teased that the sequel will explore the backstory of the antagonist, Kamal Haasan's Yaskin. Yaskin is a complex character, portrayed as a shadowy figure whose actions create new challenges for the hero. The sequel will also introduce a new setting called the 'Flux Lands,' in addition to the previously established worlds.
