Seth Gilliam and Sonja O’Hara star in "Stakeout."
Seth Gilliam, known for his roles in "The Walking Dead" and "The Wire," and Sonja O'Hara, an Emmy-nominated actress and creator of "Doomsday," are set to star in a new paranormal thriller called "Stakeout." This film is an adaptation of a short film and is directed by Micah Khan, who also co-wrote the screenplay. "Stakeout" follows two detectives as they hunt for a vicious serial killer. The story is set in a crime-filled world plagued by a hidden vampire epidemic, and the film is expected to be the first in a series of features. Gilliam and O'Hara are both attached to the project, which aims to begin filming this year. The production team includes Natalie Stavola, Katrina Kearns, Victoria Diana, and Francesco Cordero. Executive producers Patrick Regan and 7th Draft Productions are also involved. Khan recently completed filming an independent TV pilot called "Books." Khan expressed his desire to explore new stories, saying, "Everything under the sun has already been told before." He aims to highlight real-world issues through the lens of supernatural elements. Gilliam has also worked on "Teen Wolf" and is known for his portrayal of Father Gabriel Stokes in "The Walking Dead." O'Hara has recently co-starred in the crime thriller "Tender" and is set to direct and star in another upcoming project.
