Seven arrested in Ludhiana for thefts and snatchings

Police in Ludhiana have arrested seven people for their involvement in a series of thefts and robberies. The arrests occurred after two separate complaints were filed on March 17. The first case was reported by Jagdish Singh, a security officer at GS Auto International Limited. He claimed that five suspects broke into the factory and stole machine tools. The police quickly identified and arrested Abhilash Jha, Harpreet Singh, Vijay Kumar, Arman, and Jagjot Singh. They recovered the stolen tools during the arrests. In the second incident, Suraj Kumar reported that he was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone. Three suspects were later identified as Prabhleen, Jagjeet Singh, and Munny Kumar. Police arrested Prabhleen and Jagjeet and found the stolen phone and a sharp weapon. Inspector Jagdev Singh, the station house officer, noted that Jagjot and Prabhleen have a history of crime, with five previous cases against them. Efforts are ongoing to locate Munny Kumar, who is still at large.
