Seven best bets identified for women's NCAA Tournament
The women’s NCAA Tournament is about to start, and betting options are growing. Austin Mock has identified seven games with good betting value in the First Four and first round. March Madness is popular, and the women’s tournament is gaining attention. Iowa State is favored by 4.5 points against Princeton. Iowa State is a strong rebounding team, which could limit Princeton's chances to score. Mock believes Iowa State's offense will be too much for Princeton to handle. In another matchup, the total points for the game between Grand Canyon and Baylor is set at 140.5. Mock thinks it will be lower, near the mid-130s. Grand Canyon hasn’t faced competition like Baylor, which raises doubts about their scoring. Montana State faces Ohio State with a total set at 138.5. Montana State relies on forcing turnovers, but Ohio State rarely turns the ball over. Mock is concerned about Montana State's scoring ability against strong teams. Richmond is favored by 1.5 points over Georgia Tech. Richmond is a solid shooting team, especially from long range. Mock believes they can outperform what some might expect against tougher teams. Utah is underdog against Indiana with a moneyline of +115. Mock finds Utah to be the better team based on projections, but acknowledges Indiana's shooting ability may pose a challenge. In a high-scoring expected game, Murray State faces Iowa with a total of 164.5. Despite Murray State's fast pace, Mock believes the total is too high, based on previous performances. Finally, Norfolk State plays Maryland with a total set at 145.5. Maryland is expected to dominate, but Mock hopes Norfolk State can contribute to the score led by their experienced point guard.
