Several senior executives resign from Hero MotoCorp

Hero MotoCorp is experiencing leadership turmoil as nearly six senior executives have resigned. This includes important figures like Reema Jain, the chief information and digital officer, and Sameer Pander, the HR head. The company's challenges are significant, with declining market share and sales. Reports indicate that these resignations mostly occurred in the last few days. These departures follow a town hall meeting where executive chairman Pawan Munjal warned employees about accountability and performance. Some of the executives who resigned were recruited by Niranjan Gupta, the recently departed CEO. Hero MotoCorp's market share has fallen to its lowest level in a decade. In February, it lost its top position in the market to Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India. Additionally, for the first time, Hero sold fewer two-wheelers than TVS Motor Co., dropping to third place in the industry. Last month, the company's total sales to dealers fell by 17% compared to the previous year.
