Severe storms and tornadoes kill at least four in southern U.S

At least four people have died as severe storms and tornadoes impacted the southern U.S. over the weekend. The fatalities occurred in Texas, Mississippi, and North Carolina, with around 40 tornadoes reported across several states. In Texas, a 48-year-old woman was killed when a tornado struck near Liverpool. In Mississippi, an 18-year-old woman died when a tree fell on her home, while another unidentified victim was also killed. A 70-year-old man in North Carolina was killed by a falling tree while driving. Power outages affected tens of thousands, with 38,000 customers in Mississippi and 18,000 in Louisiana still without electricity. The storms also caused significant flight delays, with over 400 flights affected at Charlotte and Atlanta airports.
