Severe weather threatens East Coast after deadly tornadoes strike Texas and Mississippi
Severe weather is expected to hit the Southeast and East Coast on Sunday, following deadly tornadoes in Texas and Mississippi that killed at least two people. Tornado watches are in effect for several states. Rainfall of up to two inches is forecast for coastal areas in Oregon and northern California. Storms are expected to move toward the Northeast, while Upper Michigan may see snow. As of noon EST, over 180,000 people are without power across parts of the Southeast. Nearly 350 flights have been delayed at Charlotte Douglas International Airport due to the weather.
