Shane Lowry is still in the race for victory at the Valspar Championship after shooting a third-round score of 70. This score puts him just two shots behind the leaders. Lowry, from Offaly, is tied for fifth place with a total score of five under par. As the tournament approaches its final day, Jacob Bridgeman, Nicolas Echavarria, and Viktor Hovland are tied for the lead at seven under. Echavarria had a standout performance on Saturday, finishing with a five-under round of 66. During his round, Lowry managed to make two birdies, one on the first hole and another on the tenth. However, he also had one bogey on the second hole. He is now in a tie for fifth place, alongside fellow major winner Justin Thomas. Seamus Power is currently tied for 31st place after his own round of 70, leaving him at one under par. His round was mixed, featuring three consecutive birdies on holes five, six, and seven but also included bogeys on holes three and four. Power added birdies on holes 11 and 13 to finish his day at one under par.
