Shelbi found deer antlers during family jungle safari
Andrew Chafin and his family recently enjoyed a fun jungle safari. During the trip, his wife, Shelbi, made an exciting discovery by finding deer antlers twice. They also had a chance to spend time with family, which is important for them, especially during baseball season. Shelbi shared highlights of their outing on her Instagram story. She included pictures of their children playing in the fields and captured her antler finds with captions like "First find this year" and "Second find." The family reunion was another key part of their trip, as Shelbi posted a picture of Andrew playing Skip-Bo, mentioning it was a "much-needed visit" with her brother. Earlier in February 2025, Andrew Chafin signed a deal with the Detroit Tigers for the Minor League. He had been a free-agent reliever before this opportunity. Andrew was invited to spring training, even though he is not on the roster yet. The Chafins live on a farm in Ohio and have three young children. They got married in November 2017. Shelbi has previously discussed the challenges of being married to a baseball player while raising their kids alone during the season. She often faces a three-hour time difference when trying to connect with Andrew during games. To make family life easier, Andrew prefers to stay in an RV near the Detroit camp during the season, allowing him to see his kids on weekends.
