Shelton Benjamin joins AEW Dynamite as part of new Hurt Syndicate group

Shelton Benjamin made his debut on AEW Dynamite during its fifth anniversary show. He appeared in a backstage segment with MVP, where they discussed a confrontation with Prince Nana from the previous week. Benjamin and MVP are part of a new group called the Hurt Syndicate, similar to the Hurt Business from WWE. Bobby Lashley is expected to join them soon. Benjamin's WWE career ended in September 2023 after his release. He had been in talks with AEW earlier this year and has wrestled occasionally on the independent circuit since then.
