Shikeo Bell charged with Rhamero West's murder in Manchester
A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder in the death of 16-year-old Rhamero West in Manchester. Police announced the charge today. Rhamero was stabbed to death on Norton Street in Old Trafford in September 2021. He was chased in a car and tried to escape after a crash, but was ultimately attacked in the street. Three men were previously convicted of his murder. Ryan Cashin, Giovanni Lawrence, and Marquis Richards, who was a teenager at the time, received life sentences in May 2022. Together, they were given a total of 61 years in prison. The charged man, Shikeo Bell, is from Moss Side, Manchester. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 12, 2025. In a statement, Greater Manchester Police confirmed the new charge related to Rhamero's death. Rhamero West was the nephew of former Manchester City and England footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips.
