'Shogun’s Ninja' film launches globally on YouTube March 28
A new film called "Shogun’s Ninja," directed by Koichi Sakamoto, will be released globally on March 28. It will be available on the YouTube channel for Samurai Vs Ninja membership. The film is produced by Nihon Eiga Broadcasting Corp. It is set in the 17th century during the Edo period of Japan. The story follows two sisters, Kagaribi and Okyo, who are descendants of the famous 'Fuma' ninja clan. They must fight to reclaim their family's honor after their friend Oran is kidnapped by elite 'Yagyu' samurai. Filming took place at Kyoto's Toei Kyoto Studio, known for producing samurai films. Sakamoto is recognized for his work on "Power Rangers" and "Kamen Rider." The cast includes Himena Yamada and Kanon Miyahara, supported by experienced suit actors. Sakamoto aims to blend classic samurai and ninja tales with modern storytelling. He promises that the fight scenes will be dynamic and visually impressive, ensuring viewers remain engaged.
