Shooters in Baba Siddique murder plot initially aimed to kill Salman Khan, say Mumbai police

Two shooters arrested in the murder of Baba Siddique revealed they initially planned to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan. However, they abandoned the plan due to his heavy security. The shooters are linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. The shooters, Shiv Kumar Gautam and Dharmraj Kashyap, admitted to surveilling Khan's residence but found the security too tight. They were also tasked with creating fear in Mumbai and were promised rewards for their involvement. The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested 26 suspects in the case, invoking the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act. The investigation continues to uncover more about the gang's operations and protect potential targets.
