Shooting at Willimantic bar on St. Patrick's Day

Police are looking into a shooting that occurred at a bar in Willimantic, Connecticut, on St. Patrick's Day. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. at Blarney’s Café. Officers responded to a 911 call about shots fired from the bar's patio area. When police arrived, they found a man who had been grazed by a bullet on his arm. He was taken to Windham Hospital for treatment. Authorities report that the shooter or shooters left the scene quickly, along with many bar patrons. Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting might have resulted from a conflict between local residents. Police believe it was not a random act. They also mentioned that there is no ongoing threat to the community or nearby college.
