Shooting in East Oakland injures one person

A shooting occurred on Monday afternoon in East Oakland, injuring one person. The incident took place in the 6400 block of Foothill Boulevard. Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 4:15 p.m. When they arrived, they found a person with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition. Authorities are investigating the shooting and have urged anyone with information to reach out.
