Shooting investigation underway in Plainfield, Connecticut
Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday in Central Village, Plainfield. A 33-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the forearm at 10 Black Hill Road after officers responded to a 911 call. The call reported multiple individuals breaking things inside the home. Police located the victim and another man at the scene, while a third man was found hiding nearby after a search. Authorities believe an altercation led to the shooting. The victim was taken to Backus Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking information from the public.
