Shopify moves U.S. listing to Nasdaq from NYSE
Shopify, a Canadian e-commerce platform, is moving its U.S. stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to the Nasdaq. This change will happen on March 31, 2025. The company's Class A shares will stop trading on the NYSE at the end of the day on March 28. Shopify will keep its listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange unchanged. The ticker symbol will remain as SHOP on both exchanges. In its recent financial report, Shopify announced a strong fourth quarter for 2024. Revenue rose by 31% compared to the previous year, reaching $2.8 billion. Shopify's market capitalization is now $121 billion, a 55% increase from the same time last year.
