Shreyas Iyer ranks second in IPL 2025 Orange Cap

Despite falling just short of a century, his effort helped PBKS secure a narrow 11-run victory over Gujarat Titans. Iyer's powerful hitting included nine sixes and five fours, contributing to his team's total of 243 runs. Currently, Iyer ranks second in the Orange Cap standings, which tracks the top run-scorers of the tournament. He is just behind Ishan Kishan from Sunrisers Hyderabad, who scored an unbeaten 106 runs in a previous match against Rajasthan Royals. In the standings, two players from Lucknow Super Giants also made significant contributions. Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh scored 75 and 72 runs, respectively, placing them in the top five.
