Shruti Haasan highlights new career path in music
Shruti Haasan is preparing for a live music concert in Hyderabad on March 28. She has been busy rehearsing with her band at Island City Studios in Mumbai. Last year, she focused on her film "Coolie," but now she's excited to perform again. The concert will feature her independent music, including songs like "Monster Machine," "Her," and her Tamil single "Inimel." Shruti plans to share new music that hasn’t been released yet, as well as popular film songs. She enjoys working with her band and is eager to perform for fans. In the future, Shruti aims to develop a more extensive music career. She wants to produce independent music that can support itself financially. Currently, she prefers releasing singles rather than a full album, believing her diverse themes are linked by a "red thread" concept. Shruti mentioned that independent music is different from film music and expressed her desire to perform more live shows across India. She has fond memories of performing in London in 2018 and 2019, which helped build her confidence. As for her film career, Shruti has been busy with projects during the pandemic. She filmed several Telugu movies and noted that she is now open to both acting and music. Her international film "The Eye," was recently featured at the Wench Film Festival, and she composed a song for it as well. Shruti is enthusiastic about her upcoming films "The Eye" and "Coolie," seeing them as pivotal moments in her career. She is exploring new opportunities in both music and acting. Tickets for her concert in Hyderabad are available online.
