Sideral Cinema has joined the Spanish film project "Three Summer Days." They are teaming up with Nexus CreaFilms and Magnética Cine, both known for their influential work in Spanish cinema. This is the debut film of director Álvaro López Alba. "Three Summer Days" tells a story about family relationships during a short but intense time at the beach. The film focuses on Cris, who falls in love with a boy while her friendship with Miri falters. Dani, who feels lonely, longs for Miri and escapes into video games. Their father, José, faces challenges in his relationship, which are clearer to others than to him. Over three days, the family struggles to reconnect amid secrets and misunderstandings. The film is in advanced development, with a strong script ready after significant refinement. Sideral Cinema and Magnética Cine are working to secure complete funding in 2025, aiming to start filming by summer 2026. So far, they have raised over $200,000 for development and are seeking more financing. The project will be featured at the Malaga Film Festival this week. Director Álvaro López Alba expressed excitement about the collaboration, highlighting the enthusiasm of new partners. Sideral's Nuria Landete shared her support for the project, emphasizing their commitment since discovering it at the ECAM Incubator. Nuria Muñoz from Nexus also welcomed Sideral's involvement, noting the strong production and distribution support. With its compelling story and solid backing, "Three Summer Days" promises to make a significant impact in Spanish cinema and strengthen Sideral's diverse catalog.
