'Sikandar' earns $16,047 in USA advance bookings

Salman Khan's new action drama, 'Sikandar', is set to release on Eid. Advance bookings in the USA have started strongly, earning about $16,047 from around 506 shows. This film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Despite its promising start, 'Sikandar' will face stiff competition at the US box office. It competes with other films like 'MAD Square', which has already grossed $13,871 from 113 shows, and 'Empuraan', which earned $36,249 from just 37 shows. There are also other releases expected over the Eid weekend, including 'Robinhood' and 'Veera Dheera Sooran'. 'Sikandar' features intense action and emotional depth. The film has generated buzz through promotional efforts, including posters and music. The latest song, 'Sikandar Naache', features a dance sequence with Salman and Rashmika Mandanna. The film's production lasted 90 days and took place in Mumbai and Hyderabad. This release also marks Salman’s collaboration with Nadiadwala since their successful film, 'Kick', in 2014. Additionally, this will be Salman's return to theaters after his cameo in 'Singham Again', alongside Ajay Devgn. As Eid approaches, 'Sikandar' is expected to perform well at the box office. However, it will also compete with the new live-action children's film, 'Snow White', starring Rachael Zeggler.
