"Silent Hill f" reveals new trailer, set in Japan

A new cinematic trailer for "Silent Hill f" has been released. This marks the first main game in the Silent Hill series since 2012. The series, which started in 1999, is gaining popularity again, especially after the successful remake of Silent Hill 2 last year. "Silent Hill f" was first announced in 2022. Now, three years later, fans can finally see a preview of the game. The setting is 1960s Japan, and it follows a teenager named Shimizu Hinako. Her life changes when a thick fog envelops her hometown, Ebisugaoka. This fog transforms the town into a scary place filled with monsters and horrors. The game's story is being written by Ryukishi07. He is known for his work on the "Higurashi When They Cry" and "Umineko When They Cry" series. Ryukishi07 shared his thoughts about the Silent Hill atmosphere. He said that it still fascinates him and he has worked hard to create a compelling story for this installment. While there is no confirmed release date yet, players can wishlist the game on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC through various online stores. Physical copies will also be available for pre-order, including a limited edition steelbook.
