Single ticket wins £11.7 million National Lottery jackpot
A single ticket-holder has won an £11.7 million lottery jackpot from Saturday's National Lottery draw. This is the largest win of the year to date. The previous biggest win was £7.5 million, won by 20-year-old James Clarkson in January. The winning numbers for the jackpot were 10, 11, 34, 38, 54, 55, and the bonus number was 26. Andy Carter, a senior adviser at the National Lottery operator Allwyn, expressed joy at the win. He emphasized the life-changing impact of the prize and shared excitement about the winner's new opportunities. So far this year, there have been a total of 10 jackpot wins. In January, two ticket-holders each won £4 million. Additionally, a player won £1 million in the EuroMillions draw on Friday. There was also a £7.4 million win in February, and three winners shared a £1.7 million prize later that month. There were no winners in the recent Thunderball draw, with the winning numbers being 05, 11, 16, 38, 39, and the Thunderball 06.
