Sintopia's first gameplay trailer and demo released

On March 24, 2025, Team17 Digital and Piraknights Games released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game, Sintopia. The trailer showcases how players will manage a realm filled with mischievous characters called Humus, who are sent to Hell for their silly or sinful actions in the Overworld. In addition to the trailer, a demo of Sintopia is available now during the City Builder & Colony Sim Fest on Steam. This demo, currently in pre-alpha, offers players a first look at the game’s content in both the Overworld and Hell. Sintopia combines elements of a builder and a God game. In the Overworld, players will observe a comical civilization of chickpea people as they make choices that lead to their damnation. Players will need to punish the souls, manage expenses, and generate profit to expand their Hellish empire. Key features of the game include the ability to become a powerful boss in Hell, shape the environment to meet personal desires, and ensure that lost souls undergo "re-education" to prevent corruption from accumulating in the world. Piraknights Games, founded in 2022, consists of five industry professionals who bring a variety of skills together to create engaging games.
